I’m laying on my bed. It’s dark except for the light of my iPhone. I hear virtual clicks as I tap on the screen. I was about to go to sleep, but I felt scared. Why? The dark? The silence? Not doing anything?
So I type this. I have no point to make nor message to declare. I’m just typing.
Today, I will start dedicating 10 minutes a day to just write whatever. The goal of this exercise is to just write, to be comfortable with just writing. The writing will not be good, but that is expected. Works of art do not take 10 minutes. These 10 minute writings are like sketches, little doodles of letters, words, sentences, and paragraphs. They will be my form of exercise, flexing my literary muscles.
