“Who did they think they are, that they can come here, with their twisted magic and stupid men with horses, did they think they’d breach here as they did the walls?” Allana asked no one inparticuler, though the creak of a suit of armor shakeing it’s head was the only one she got. “Did they think they’d be able to cross my bridge to get into my Tower,” Her voice echoed in a way th wasn’t entirely becuase of hte stone hall’s accoutics. “No, no one will cross the bridge, not while I’m here. No no one at all,” she walked with haste, muttering the entire about the idoitcy of the oncomers.
She stepped out from the hall, where the stairs came to open space before the now closed gate, and finding the desire to walk all the way there non exsistet she willed herself there instead.
From her view infront of what looked like wrought iron gates she could easily see them appoach in the fadeing daylight. Anger, deep anger, and anger that wasn’t just hers rose up, and night seemed to come faster, the sun seemed to be running from the sky instead of dawlinding it’s way to the horrizion as it was chased by a full moon.
In front of a small force, there was more to come she was certain, was a half dozen men in all but completetly covering cloacks. They stayed back, behind an ivisable line, but a line none the less that marked where the inner sanctrum of the mage city began. And where the powers they had not dealt with had began.
“You’ve on chance to surrender peacefully and on good terms Madame Moore.” One of the soldiers shouted, if the silly silver pins on his shoulder were anything to go by he has a high ranking one to. Not that Allana cared.
She laughed, it started at a giggle, she surrender, that was an idea that was simply prepostrous. “And you have one chance to apologize for calling me Madame, I’m far to young and far to pretty to be called by such a homely title.” She said, her voice carried even without a shout. “And furter more, I will not tolerate you and your lots unsightly faces and warmachines on my front lot, so if you care to remain as you are, with 2 arms 2 legs and a head, then it’s truely in your best interest to leave.”
The solder looked to the others around him, for some report, there was some shakeing of heads which Allana watched with a small smile. “Would anyone like a tail maybe? Like a monkey I think that’d be usefull don’t you? It’d make a soldiers life simplier you could wield your useless little sword while you tied your shoes.” Allana said, walking towards them fearlessly, the water in the moat below turned to liqued glistening silver.
“Madame, uh miss Moore” the same solider began again, he seemed to have drawn a short straw, a very short straw indeed. "This city and all citizens within it are under martial law and answerable to the Rithrein(name pulled out of hat, will probably change) empire, this Castle and it’s contents claimed as victory spoils.
“Victory spoils!” Allana laughed, but not a harmious sound, but a mockery, "You and your precious empire have no victory yet. Nor will you while the sun and moon still cycle htough the sky. " Her hair, ussaly a deep dark red shimmiered in the moon like a silver set ruby. “You will leave, and you will leave now.” Allana spoke, her voice gaining an echo as she stood in the all to bright moonlight.
