" The boy answered, his steps growing less akward the more time they spent in the dark. “That’s a wierd combanation to ask about,” The boy added when Galis went quite, focussing more on getting them where they were going, he’d hoped for something usefull about Galroy, he hoped the tidbit about Zephane being a killer was just a rumor that got really out of hand.With the rumor mill you could never really know.

“What would contitue a normal selection?” Galis asked, halting for a momment as he heard a noise, glad that Ralfon had enough sense not to answer right away. Apprently the boy wasn’t completetly daft. The sound of what Galis hoped but was sure wasn’t a large rat echoed down the corridor, Galis grimaced as the hand on his shoulder tightened. His only movement was to put a hand on the hilt of his dagger, rats got big in the sewers, and he knew they weren’t the only things down there. Tales he’d over heard of oversized spider, mutated dogs, and massive reptiles that wandered the sewers comeing to mind as the sound got closer, his heart pounding wtih every shuffling step. He needed to get a better look at it, know what it was or where it was going, and he couldn’t do that wit the noble kid trailing behind him. Not saying a word he gently took the kid’s hand from his shoulder, guiding it to a nearby ladder rung, it wouldn’t quite get him where he was going but Galis hoped it’d be enough to stop the kid from completetly freaking out. Hystircal screaming was not a good sound.
