A quick update
Several things happened in the past few days:
Ok, that’s it. Under six minutes!
Haha, the acronym for Write for Ten (WFT) does look like WTF as Arania pointed out.
I propose a different acronym: WF10 or W10. I prefer WF10. There you go, that doesn’t look like WTF at all. There wouldn’t be anymore confusion.
I suggest when writing about this project that you use the WF10 acronym. If you use Twitter, tweet about the project and use the hashtag #wf10 or #writeforten. If you want to blog about the project, use one of our badges .
We were recently featured on FeedMyApp . Welcome to all of those who are coming from FeedMyApp.
It’s January 10, 2010. I’m releasing Write for Ten to the world. The site is up now at http://writeforten.com/
Hello world! Today is an appropriate day for showing this project to the world. If it’s not obvious to you yet. It’s the 10th day of 2010 and this project encourages writing for ten minutes about anything.
Give it a try! Sign up for an account. Then spend ten minutes writing about anything. How about writing your impression of the site as a start?
Of course, you don’t have to use this site to start writing. Just grab a notebook, open a text editor, or go to your favorite blog site and write something. Develop a habit of writing anyway you can, it will be good for your mind. I bet some of you have New Year’s resolutions related to writing.
My time is almost up. If you like this project, help us spread the word. Write a blog post about us (within 10 minutes of course) and point back to the site using one of our badges . You can also follow @writeforten on Twitter.
Ok, my time is up. Go write something!
